WILPF Nigeria met with the Director General of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution

WILPF Nigeria met with the Director General of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Dr. Joseph Ochogwu.

The visit aimed to strengthen existing relations and collaborations in the area of peacebuilding.

During the meeting, the DG committed that the Institute will coordinate trainings to enhance the capacity of Women’s Situation Room Nigeria (WSRN) state coordinators in negotiations, mediation, and peacebuilding.

This commitment is particularly timely as Anambra and Ekiti States prepare for their upcoming elections in November 2025 and June 2026, leading up to the 2027 general elections.
