VIOLENCE TRACKING FOR PRE, DURING AND POST ELECTION

In order to monitor violence against women in this electioneering times, WILPF Nigeria embarked on intensive news paper review.
Over 70 national dailies have been reviewed with rape as highest form of violence against women. In the political arena, intimidation by men and parties asking women to step down for men or denial of position was obvious. In Abia there was multiple taxation that lead women to protest.
