PEACE WALK

On Friday the 3rd of June 2022, WSRN alongside women’s groups, youth groups, people living with disabilities and security agencies joined in the peace walk organized by Women’s situation room Nigeria. 

The peace walk aimed to sensitize the citizens on the importance of a peaceful election free from all forms of VAWE and with an inclusive participation by all citizens irrespective of gender. Also, the walk was to call on all women groups to substantively participate in the states elections and for youth groups to shun vote buying, all forms of violence and to avoid being manipulated to cause conflict.
