Gendered observation of Ekiti state election

The WSRN with support from UN WOMEN and the Government of Canada collaborated with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, the Women in Politics Forum to ensure that women play a vital role in promoting peace and security and to ensure equal participation from both genders in exercising their electoral rights. On the Election Day, WSRN roved through some LGAs of the state and visited other situation rooms to share data, information and have firsthand information on what’s happening on the polling units.
