CONSULTATIVE DIALOGUE WITH STAKEHOLDERS IN EKITI STATE
On Thursday the 2nd of June 2022, Women’s situation room Nigeria organized a one day consultative dialogue with relevant stakeholders in the state capital ( AdoEkiti). The meeting had representatives from ministries, institutions, traditional rulers, agencies, security agencies, networks and coalitions, persons living with disabilities, and CSOs. Representatives from key media station were available to cover the event.
As a result of the meeting, we were able to achieve the objectives of meeting by;
I. Having a better understanding on the situational context of the state,
II. Identifying who is doing what and ways of building strategic partnership with stakeholders
III. Validating of the rapid assessment conducted in the state
IV. Strengthening capacities on inclusion of women in electoral process and reduction of VAWE.
