DIALOGUE ON THE NATIONAL ACTION PLAN AS A TOOL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF UNSCR 1325 WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS AND WOMEN REPRESENTATIVES FROM CSOs ACROSS THE FOUR GEO-POLITICAL ZONES

WSRN flagged off its dialogue on the National Action Plan with the purpose of bringing each state Local Government Coordinators together to understanding the UNSCR 1325 and the National Action Plan (NAP) as a tool for the implementation of the UNSCR 1325. It was also an opportunity to understand the structure of WSRN; the transformative change agenda come 2019; plan and discuss strategies on the effective skills needed for the various advocacy visits planned in the various states. The workshop in each zone was attended by the Zonal, State and Local Government Coordinators and representative from different agencies. Below is the coverage of states by each zone;

• North Central: BENUE, PLATEAU on the 9^th and 15^th of June, 2017 respectively
• North East: GOMBE, 13^th of June, 2017
• South South: RIVERS, DELTA on the 13^th and 16^th of June, 2017 respectively
• South East: IMO on the 13^th of June, 2017
